Their love was to be forever.
It wasn't supposed to die.
But something changed everything
And their true love was a lie.
Something came between them.
Something they couldn't see.
It was something they couldn't handle.
They had to wait and see.
Could they go on together
And forget about the past?
Could they start over again
And make the future last?
No, something stood between them,
Greater than any love could fix.
The something that was there,
Was something not meant to mix.
So, now they are apart.
It's the loneliness they feel.
When you've shared something special
The love seems so real.
But, soon they'll find someone else
To make their lives feel whole.
They will feel love again
Buried deep within their soul.
It just doesn't seem right anymore
For them to be together.
They've found someone else, now
Who's love was to be forever.
