Secrets

Secrets are whispers locked away
Hidden from those they can hurt.
Small or big they are deadly weapons
Ready to spill all the dirt.

Some are trifle and can be kept.
Others are huge and infinite.
To the holders dismay, without a doubt,
Secrets have a way of coming out.

To avoid this tragic confrontation
Secrets should be kept by one.
A single being, and no other,
Should ever know what has been done.

Your little secret is kept so well
Cause only you will ever tell.
So, guard it well with all your might.
Secrets are whispers in the night.
